Well run surgery - appointments for nurses generally run on time - so much better than our previous doctors surgery

I am a new patient to the surgery & have only seen the nurse who was great & it was very easy to get an appointment.

Appointments made on the day can be quite difficult at times having to go through two levels of triage before seeing a doctor. My recent visit was typical with a high level of care and professionalism shown by all staff.

Is easy to get an appointment but the wait for it is extremely long normally 7-10 days for gp. This therefore leads you to forgot and miss the appointment as in most situations your illness tends to improve, as in most cases it's not classed as an emergency which leads to you not bothering to call to make appointment when your ill. This can be very discouraging as you feel the surgery/ gp are not interested and make you feel as if you are wasting their time. The surgery should consider this as they can see who calls all the time or people who only call when they are genuinely I'll.
